The invention relates to a hybrid yarn comprising metal, mineral and carbon-rich filaments such as aramid fibres and to textile structures derived therefrom. The inventive yarn exhibits a high thermal resistance and is used, in particular for handling glass at the forming temperature thereof, more particularly at a temperature ranging from 500 to 800 DEG C.
