<p>PURPOSE: An electroluminescence device is provided to prevent a contamination of a jig caused due to ingress of surplus adhesive to a light emitting portion or circumference of a substrate. CONSTITUTION: An electroluminescence device comprises a substrate and a sealing member(20). The first substrate has a first center portion where a light emitting portion is formed, and a first peripheral portion(11) formed around the first center portion. The sealing member has a second center portion(22) covering the first center portion, and a second peripheral portion(21) formed around the second center portion and adhered to the first peripheral portion by an adhesive.
