<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coil in which a wire is regularly wound in a multi-row and multi-layer manner irrespective of the material property and the shape of the wire, and to provide a coil in which erroneous temperature rise is hard to occur with a cheap cost. <P>SOLUTION: An apparatus 10, 20 for manufacturing a coil by winding a wire around a fixed center line comprises a feeding means such as feeding rollers 11 for feeding the wire to its longitudinal direction, a forming means such as a forming roller 13 having a deforming plane, which pressure-contacts the wire at a preceding position of the fed wire and whose distance to the center line is variable, for deforming the wire so that the wire after the pressure contact can turn around the center line, and a track changing means such as pitch adjusting tools 27 for changing the track of the wire, after the pressure contact, along the center-line direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
