<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily create a synthesized image without having an uncomfortable feeling even if the user does not have special experience or instinct when a texture image is synthesized in a raw image. <P>SOLUTION: This image synthesis device for synthesizing a texture image in a part of a raw image includes: an image input device 10 for inputting the raw image and the texture image; a direction input device 12 for designating a synthesis area for synthesizing the texture image in the raw image and for designating a parameter for carrying out projective normalization conversion of coordinate values of the synthesis area to coordinate values on the texture image; and an image synthesis device 14 for creating master data representing the synthesis area, for carrying out projective normalization conversion for the coordinates in the synthesis area based on the designated parameter to calculate relative coordinate values, for calculating the texture coordinate values on the texture image from the relative coordinate values, and for synthesizing the texture image in the synthesis area from the texture coordinate values. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
