<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust emission control device for an engine for rapidly thawing a frozen reducing agent. <P>SOLUTION: The exhaust emission control device for the engine is provided with a reduction catalyst 4 disposed in an exhaust system of the engine 1 to reduce and purify nitrogen oxide in exhaust gas with a reducing agent: an injection nozzle for injecting the reducing agent on the exhaust upper reaches of the reduction catalyst 4 in an exhaust pipe 3 of an exhaust system; and a storage tank 6 storing the reducing agent inside and having supply piping 8 disposed to supply the reducing agent to the injection nozzle 5.
