PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multilayer ceramic capacitor in which enhancement in TC bias characteristics can be expected while having various electric characteristics, especially a sufficient dielectric constant, even when an interlayer dielectric layer is made thin. SOLUTION: The multilayer ceramic capacitor 1 consists of an internal electrode layer 3, an interlayer dielectric layer 2 having a thickness of less than 2μm, and an outer dielectric layer 20 wherein the interlayer dielectric layer 2 and the outer dielectric layer 20 contain a plurality of dielectric particles 2a and 20a. Assuming the mean particle diameter of entire dielectric particles 2a in the interlayer dielectric layer 2 is D50a, and the mean particle diameter of entire dielectric particles 20a existing at a position separated by 5μm or more in the thickness direction from the internal electrode layer 3a arranged outermost in the outer dielectric layer 20 is D50b, the ratio (D50a/D50b) satisfies predetermined conditions.
