<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably ensure base for maintaining posture by certainly detecting a starting time of pushing up of a brake pedal by collision of a vehicle and certainly intruding the brake pedal to depth in response to pushing up and to certainly prevent excessive load from being applied to an operator in a braking device for a vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: The braking device A for the vehicle is provided with a master cylinder 10; a reservoir tank 12; solenoid valves 46, 48 for adjustably discharging a brake oil from output ports 10a, 10b of the master cylinder 10 to the reservoir tank 12; a collision detection sensor 68 for detecting the collision of the vehicle; a liquid pressure meter 61 for detecting master cylinder pressure; and ECU 70. The ECU 70 detects pushing up of the brake pedal 11 based on existence of the collision and the master cylinder pressure and when the pushing up is detected, it controls the solenoid valves 46, 48, adjusts discharge of the brake oil and intrudes the brake pedal 11 to depth. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
