PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inhibit a rapid fluctuation of an output voltage Vout from a secondary rectifying smoothing circuit against a fluctuation of an input power supply or a load in a switching regulator provided with a constitution for indirectly detecting a voltage outputted from a secondary circuit of a transformer and stably controlling an output voltage based on the detected voltage. SOLUTION: An auxiliary winding 17 is provided in a smoothing choke coil 6 provided in the secondary rectifying smoothing circuit 3. Since a voltage related to the fluctuation of the voltage Vout outputted from the secondary rectifying smoothing circuit 3 to the load 8, is generated to the choke coil 6, the auxiliary winding 17 can directly detect the fluctuation of the output voltage Vout and output a directly detected voltage Vd. An output voltage detecting rectifying smoothing circuit 10 has a constitution for indirectly detecting the output voltage Vout based on a voltage induced from a tertiary winding N3. The auxiliary winding 17 is connected to the output voltage detecting rectifying smoothing circuit 10, and superimposes the voltage Vd directly detected by the auxiliary winding 17 on a voltage Vk indirectly detected by the tertiary winding N3. The output voltage detecting rectifying smoothing circuit 10 outputs the superimposed voltage to a control circuit 15 for implementing a switching control (an output voltage stabilizing control) of a main switch element Q.
