PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and device for promoting viewing of broadcast contents. SOLUTION: When a mail receiving terminal receives e-mail including a message that a CM by an advertiser is broadcasted from a mail server, the message that the CM by the advertiser is broadcasted is displayed on a mailer screen 50, and a program record button 64, a program view button 65, a CM record button 66 and a CM view button 67 are displayed. The mail also includes program information such as the program start date and time, the program finish date and time, the CM start date and time, the CM finish date and time and the broadcast channel. When the CM video recording button 66 is clicked, a CM video recording reservation signal is transmitted to a video in accordance with the program information through the infrared interface of the mail receiving terminal.
