PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable another receiver to use viewing history information stored by a certain receiver. SOLUTION: Program viewing history information is stored in a memory of a portable broadcasting receiver 30. The portable broadcasting receiver 30 is provided with an infrared communicating part, and reads the viewing history information from the memory to transmit the viewing history information by infrared ray when a prescribed key is operated. A fixed broadcasting receiver 50 is provided with an infrared receiving part for a remote control transmitter. The fixed broadcasting receiver 50 is always in a state capable of receiving an infrared signal, and preserves (stores) the viewing history information in a memory when the fixed broadcasting receiver 50 receives the viewing history information transmitted from the portable broadcasting receiver 30.
