HANDOVER METHOD AND MOBILE SET

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a handover method capable of performing handover without performing cell search even when a mobile set does not detect a target cell for handover when handover is started. SOLUTION: When a message designating a cell that is not detected by a mobile set MS as a handover destination is transmitted from a base station BS to the mobile set MS, the mobile set MS estimates that the present receiving path position is the same as a receiving path position after handover and performs handover to the undetected cell.
