PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electronic equipment whose display device is not twisted even when an impact load is placed on a housing. SOLUTION: The electronic equipment has the display device 22, a protection member 42 which is made of an elastic material protecting the display device 22, and the housing 20 which has a display window part 32 formed to view a display area of the display device 22 from outside; and the protection member 42 has a bottom wall opposed to a surface including the display area of the display device 22, a side wall 46 formed surrounding the bottom wall, an opening part for viewing the display area of the display device 22 in the bottom wall, and a projection part 50 which projects in parallel to the side wall 46 at a specified position of a peripheral edge of the opening part, and the display device 22 is stored in the space surrounded with the bottom wall and side wall 46 of the protection member 42, the projection part 50 of the protection member 42 being fixed abutting against the peripheral edge of the display window 32.
