PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing method of polymer particle capable of stably fixing particles to which biological substance such as DNA probe is fixed or can be fixed, to a base, and providing micro array assay of high sensitivity. SOLUTION: In this method of fixing on the base chargeable polymer particles having a functional group capable of introducing the biological substance, a chargeable thin film having electric charge opposite to the chargeable polymer particle, is formed on a surface of the base by using a high polymer compound having an amino group or its salt and a carboxyl group or its salt in a molecule, then the dispersion liquid of the chargeable polymer particles is applied onto the chargeable thin film, and the chargeable polymer particle is electrostatically bonded and fixed on the chargeable thin film.
