PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an agrochemical which controls powdery mildew in a terrestrial-part-disease control field wherein the appearance frequency of bacteria resistant to chemical agents is high and which imparts little load to the environment since it is derived from microorganisms separated from natural soil and imparting little load to the environment; a microbial microbicide capable of canceling defects of a powdery mildew drug (microbial agrochemical) on the market at present, i.e., lack in effects at low temperatures, lack in immediate effect, or lack in therapeutic effect, even a little, and a control method using the same; and a control means which can contribute to IPM (integrated control). SOLUTION: The microbicide contains a biomass or cultured product of Pseudomonas fluorescens bacteria separated from natural soil. When used for treating a terrestrial part of a plant, the microbicide exhibits immediate effects even at a low temperature, can be expected to produce therapeutic effects, can control powdery mildew pathogenic fungi resistant to chemical agents, and, as a microbial disinfectant, can efficiently control powdery mildew of various plants.
