PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a box, dispensing with applying edge protective members on edges, when a foamed plastic box is tied with a string. SOLUTION: A slightly wider plastic tape of thickness larger than a specified thickness is adhered at the corners of the plastic box or a lid to which the string is brought into contacts with.
