PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combustion type power tool with an easy-to-manufacture and difficult-to-break shock absorbing member. SOLUTION: When a motor 18 is mounted to a head cap 11 of a combustion type driving tool 1, a motor 18 is inserted in a housing part 14 of a shock absorbing member 13 formed of an elastic material such as rubber and equipped with the housing part 14 and a shock absorbing collar 15 in integral molding. Fixing parts of three shock absorbing collar 15 extending from the housing part 14 in approximately the same shapes are nipped and fixed between a plate 16 and the head cap 11.
