PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire coil conveying and transferring mechanism capable of automatically conveying and transferring a wire coil from a C-hook carrier to an inverting machine via a mobile truck. SOLUTION: The wire coil conveying and transferring mechanism comprises a C-hook carrier, a mobile truck and a plurality of sensors. A pallet is placed on the mobile truck, and a claw to hook the wire coil in a horizontal condition and hang it is provided on the pallet. By controlling the operations of the C-hook carrier, the mobile truck and the inverting machine by the sensors, the conveyance of the wire coil by the C-hook carrier, the transfer of the wire coil from the C-hook carrier to the mobile truck, the conveyance of the wire coil by the mobile truck, and the transfer of the wire coil from the mobile truck to the inverting machine are automatically performed.
