The invention relates to an applicator for a liquid, pasty, gel-type, wax-type or pulverulent product. Said applicator comprises an application device with a working region, a first delivery unit comprising a first delivery element, a second delivery unit comprising a second delivery element and a first and a second actuating element, which can be rotated in relation to one another. According to the invention, at least in one first operating position the first delivery unit responds to a rotation of the two actuating elements in relation to one another and at least in one second operating position the second delivery unit responds to a rotation of the two actuating units in relation to one another. An actuation of the second delivery unit causes the second delivery element to be axially shifted by an identical distance relative to the first and the second actuating elements and an actuation of the first delivery unit causes the first delivery element to be axially shifted by an identical distance relative to the first and the second actuating elements.
