Disclosed is a color stabilizer represented by the following formula (I). (R1 and R2 respectively represent a mono- to tri-cyclic aryl group or arylalkyl group. In this connection, a monocyclic aryl group is substituted with a substituent selected from the group consisting of alkyl groups, alkylthio groups, alkoxyl groups, cycloalkyl groups and the like; while a bicyclic or tricyclic aryl group, or a mono- to tri-cyclic arylalkyl group may be substituted with a substituent selected from the group consisting of alkyl groups, alkylthio groups, alkoxyl groups and cycloalkyl groups.
