<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing/sterilization method alternative to using chemical agent solving the problem that although, in general, washing and sterilization of food and food processing machinery have been carried out using chemical agents followed by rinsing with tap water or the like, food safety cannot be secured. <P>SOLUTION: The method for washing off protein stains attributable to its dissolution and for sterilization using natural materials comprises washing food and food processing machinery using hot spring water approved to drink, strongly alkaline natural hot spring water and strongly acidic natural hot spring water each approved not to drink and then making a sterilization using silver ionic water. In this method, the strongly alkaline natural hot spring water and strongly acidic natural hot spring water may be diluted in their use. By using such natural hot spring water, chemical agents can be eliminated, having advantages that food safety can be secured and effluents resulting from such activities serve for environmental protection. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
