<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power steering device capable of restraining a heating value of a motor and a three-phase inverter without deteriorating steering feeling in the vicinity of an end patch of the steering device. <P>SOLUTION: This electric power steering device is furnished with a brushless motor 3 and the three-phase inverter 4 having a plurality of semiconductor elements to control a three-phase electric current to drive the brushless motor 3, and it is possible to restrain the heating value by reducing heating of the three-phase inverter 4 at the maximum steering angle by controlling each of the three-phase electric currents flowing on the three-phase inverter 4 at the maximum steering angle in steering to become less than the maximum electric current value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
