IMMUNOACTIVATION APPARATUS

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To clarify the most suitable light source means to activate an immune system and a construction method of the same by clarifying a mechanism of optical action affecting the immune system.

SOLUTION: The apparatus emits a pulsed laser beam with a wavelength of 1.4-2.5 μm to activate Langerhans cell which subcutaneously exists. Thereby, an internal immune system is activated and a tumor can be contracted so that the apparatus is effective for immunodeficiency and tumor reduction. The intensity of energy density and a laser output are selected on the basis of an interaction between the light and a biological cell.
