<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for detecting the mutation (C2850T mutation) at the 2850 site of the cDNA of CYP2D6 gene. <P>SOLUTION: The mutation is detected by using a nucleic acid probe having a specific base sequence, produced by amplifying a region containing a C2850T mutation by PCR, having a terminal labeled with a fluorescent pigment and decreasing the fluorescence of the fluorescent pigment by hybridization, carrying out the melting curve analysis by measuring the fluorescence of the fluorescent pigment with the probe and detecting the mutation based on the result of the melting curve analysis. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
