<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for carrying out liquid-liquid multi-stage extraction capable of being applid to a nuclear fuel processing system, other various waste liquid treating processes or the like, and a method for carrying out the liquid-liquid multi-stage extraction. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus for carrying out the liquid-liquid multi-stage extraction or a similar apparatus is characterized by using a separation tube connecting a plurality of cells in series by installing a plurality of partition walls having one or more holes to partition the inside as a substitute for a separation tube having the hollow inside, filling at least the moving phase end side of each cell with a large number of nonporous small spheres so as to become the volume to be filled larger than the volume of a moving phase in a steady state, having an introduction path of the moving phase and a discharge path of a stationary phase at one end of the separation tube, having the discharge path of the moving phase and the introduction path of the stationary phase at the other end, and further respectively having a liquid feed mechanism capable of feeding a liquid of each phase. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
