PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately analyze the contents of a received mail, and to extract any undesired mail to be erased with high precision. SOLUTION: When a received mail is stored in the reception BOX of an RAM 3, a CPU 1 successively reads keywords from a plurality of types of keywords stored in a keyword memory 7, and detects a character string matched with each keyword from the received mail, and calculates a matching rateαbetween the plurality of types of keywords and the character string of the received mail based on the detection result, and erases the received mail from the reception BOX when the calculated matching rateαis larger than a reference value.
