PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for easily reducing the background noise, when detecting the radiation light emitted when a carrier is irradiated with an irradiation light, and when a substance is carried for detecting the substance carried by the carrier. SOLUTION: The carrier for carrying the substance to be detected is dyed with ink. The refractive index of the carrier is changed by clearing, or the like prior to detection.
