PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk selecting device capable of surely holding/releasing a disk by a disk holding part with a simple structure by disposing an arm opening/closing cam to open/close a disk holding arm in a drum cam having a disk selecting cam, and a disk device. SOLUTION: This disk selecting device is provided with a plurality of trays 250 for individually holding a plurality of disks D, a drum cam 210 disposed near the trays 250, and holding arms 252 and 253 displaced between a closed position to come into contact with the disk D to hold it and an open position to move away from the disk D to release it. It is further provided with a disk selecting cam groove 210-1 disposed around the drum cam 210 to guide a selection target tray 250 in the direction of moving apart from the other tray 250, and an arm opening/closing cam groove 210-2 for energizing the holding arms 252 and 253 of the selection target tray 250 to a closed position.
