SOLUTION: Communication equipment is provided with a group of input devices 11 comprising a key device or the like, an input device management part 12 for retaining the hardware information of an available input device, and converting an input from the input device into an input event which can be interpreted by an event management part 13, the event management part 13 for requesting an application management part 15 to start and stop the application by sorting the input event to the application and the input event, a sorting rule accumulating part 14 for accumulating event sorting rules of the respective applications, the application management part 15 for starting and stopping the application in response to the request from the event management part 13 and grasping states of the respective applications, and the plurality of the applications 16 for providing a predetermined functions on the communication equipment.
