PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simultaneously attain both thinning of a liner and an improvement in fatigue strength. SOLUTION: This pressure vessel 1 has the liner 10 formed by joining an aluminum alloy peripheral wall member 11 and aluminum alloy end part members 12 and 12, and a reinforcing layer 20 arranged on the outer periphery of the liner 10. A reinforcing rib 13 of a projection strip slantingly extending in the axial direction of the peripheral wall member 11, is formed on an inner peripheral surface of the peripheral wall member 11.
