PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a sheet-formed and molded product, suitable for producing such a product that its surface shape easily generates frictional force by being contacted with molding surfaces of molding tools, when the sheet-formed and molded product is molded in press molding. SOLUTION: This method for producing the sheet-formed and molded product comprises subjecting a raw material containing a fiber material to sheet forming, so as to form a fiber laminated material 2 in a wet state, and nipping and holding the fiber laminated material 2 between an elastic membrane body 5 and a molding tool 41, so as to mold the fiber laminated material 2, wherein a molding surface 50 having a shape profile similar to a shape profile of the fiber laminated material 2 is formed in the elastic membrane body 5. It is preferable that a size of the shape profile of the molding surface 50 of the elastic membrane body 5 is smaller than a size of the shape profile of the fiber laminated material 2 in the wet state.
