PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact oily smoke removing apparatus capable of efficiently and reliably removing oil content included in oily smoke by utilizing a motor-driven blower and a ventilation trunk of double structure disposed on the motor-driven blower. SOLUTION: The oily smoke removing apparatus comprises an electric motor, a centrifugal impeller connected to a rotation shaft of the electric motor and the motor-driven blower having a casing covering the centrifugal impeller. Therein, the casing has a suction port for taking in oily smoke to the inner part and a discharge passage for discharging the taken-in oily smoke to the external part. The discharge passage is composed of an inside passage that is directly connected to the casing and is provided with a plurality of pore parts on the side wall and an outside passage covering the inside passage.
