The invention relates to a method of sealing a gap between two adjacent members selected from wood, cork, and plastic, said gap having walls and a bottom comprising the steps of: a. melting a polyamide composition having a softening point above 80°C, b. filling the gap with the molten polyamide composition, c. solidifying the polyamide composition, thereby forming a seal between the two adjacent members. The invention pertains further to methods for removing and repairing said seals, and to a device for use in the above method. |
