FIELD: engineering of technological processes with necessary operative control over density of liquid substances. ^ SUBSTANCE: method includes positioning of float with ferromagnetic material into liquid substance, maintaining it in suspended state in liquid substance of known (standard) density by forces of electromagnetic interaction of float with adjustable external magnetic field, and for variations of density of controlled liquid substance vertical movements of float are prevented by magnetic field of additional solenoid magnetic system, adjusting in automatic mode the strength and direction of this (second) field, and density if liquid substance is evaluated by formula rho=K(Uout-U0), where: K - scaling coefficient, and Uout and U0 - voltages, characterizing difference of currents in solenoids of solenoid magnetic systems, generating both magnetic fields. Density meter has body 1, float 2, solenoid magnetic systems, sources 3 and 4 of electric power (alternating and direct current respectively), amplifier 5, resistors 6 and 7, and also coils 8 and 9;14 and 15(of first and second solenoid magnetic systems respectively). Density meter is characterized by presence in known set of substantial signs of such elements, as differential amplifiers 10,11, phase detector 12, integrator 13, particularities of manufacture of body 1, float 2, solenoid magnetic systems, and also their interconnection to other construction elements and to each other. ^ EFFECT: improved consumer qualities of realization in comparison to already known technical solutions. ^ 1 dwg |
