<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical pickup device which is compatible with a plurality of optical disks, and is miniaturized and thinned down. <P>SOLUTION: The optical pickup device is provided with at least following two objective lenses: a first objective lens which condenses first luminous flux emitted from a first light source on the information recording surface of a first information recording medium; and a second objective lens which condenses second luminous flux emitted from a second light source on the information recording surface of a second information recording medium. In addition, the pickup device is provided with a vertical reflection mirror having at least following two reflection surfaces: a reflection surface which reflects the first luminous flux and launches it into the first objective lens; and a reflection surface which reflects the second luminous flux and launches it into the second objective lens. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
