<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To streamline printing according to document file creation progress without the designation of a manager when a plurality of persons cooperate to create a single document. <P>SOLUTION: A system connects a document management server 1 storing in a data storage part 11 document managing means A, document files B and a linked input operator list C, personal computers 2 and a printer 3 via communication lines 4. The input operator list C can accept a specified condition of 'proof printing' and a specified maximum number of copies of 'final printing'. The document managing means A, if the record contents of the input operator list C indicate that at least one operator has not completed input, set the condition of 'proof printing' to a printer driver, and if the record contents of the input operator list C indicate that all the operators have completed input, record the number of copies of 'final printing' set and printed by the printer driver in the input operator list C and prohibits printing amounting over the maximum number of copies of 'final printing'. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
