<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high capacity nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery having a high capacity and a good charging-discharging cycle characteristics. <P>SOLUTION: In the nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery consisting of a positive electrode including material reversibly occluding and discharging lithium, a negative electrode including amorphous material reversibly occluding and discharging lithium, a nonaqueous electrolyte containing lithium salt and a separator; the nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery is realized by the electrolyte for a nonaqueous secondary battery in which the nonaqueous electrolyte contains at least one kind of acid anhydride, and the quantity of moisture in the electrolyte is controlled to not more than 500ppm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
