<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an advantageous marker introducing assembly capable of discharging a biopsy marker from the tip part of a biopsy probe by operating a cutter of a biopsy handle. <P>SOLUTION: The biopsy marker introducing assembly is configured to introduce the marker to the inside of the bore of a probe cutter of a hand-held mamma biopsy handle via a sample recovery recessed part. As the cutter is advanced, an arranging rod moves toward the tip side in the introducing tube of the introducing assembly, and the biopsy marker is pushed out from the tip part of the probe to a surgical biopsy section. Accordingly, a surgeon can arrange the probe and precisely arrange the marker even when he arranges an imaging device such as an ultrasonic transceiver by one hand. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
