<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow an air bag module to be mounted to a steering support member made of light alloy. <P>SOLUTION: In this air bag mounting structure, the steering support member 2 arranged in the front part of the cabin in a substantially vehicle width direction 1 is made of light alloy, and an air bag module mounting section 15 is disposed in the steering support member 2 made of the light alloy.
