<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an ink composition for waterless lithography, excellent in anti-picking property, ink adherability and anti-scumming property and having very high practicality; to make it possible to obtain a print excellent in gloss/dots reproducibility using the ink; and in addition to provide a printing ink and a print excellent in environmental safety in that volatile ingredients from the printing ink can be controlled or eliminated. <P>SOLUTION: The ink composition for lithography contains anα-olefin polymer and does not contain a rosin-modified phenolic resin. Preferably, theα-olefin polymer has a weight average mol. wt. of≤3,000, a kinematic viscosity of≤1,300 cSt (Ð40°C) and a solubility parameter of 6-10 (cal/cc)<SP>0.5</SP>(Ð25°C), and is obtained by polymerizing an 8-12C olefin.
