PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for performing cross fade processing computation by a mobile device, while maintaining existing resources and the efficiency of the operation of the mobile device. SOLUTION: First a first image and a second image are stored in a buffer in a display controller. Next, the display controller extracts pixels from corresponding source positions in the first image and the second image. In order to perform cross fade computation, the pixel is combined with weight which is related with each of the pixels. As a result, a result generated from the cross fade computation is transmitted for viewing to a display device connected to the display controller. The result can also be fetched during the refresh of a panel of the display device. Anyway, the result is transmitted to an indicator pipe during dynamic cross fade processing.
