PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a photographic printer capable of providing a composited image in which a background and a subject are well balanced. SOLUTION: This photographic printer is provided with a camera unit 2 for photographing the subject including the background of the subject, a separation processing part 41 for separating a subject image from an image photographed by the camera unit 2, a size adjusting part 46 for adjusting at least one between the size of the subject image separated by the separation processing part 41 and the size of a background image combined with the subject image as a subject background, an image combining part 46 for combining the subject image and the background image in the size adjusted by the size adjusting part 46, and a printer 25 for outputting an image to a print medium with the composited image as a photographic image on the basis of the photographic image.
