PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of preventing nonspecific coloring from occurring, even when measuring a low UIBC value of biosample, and allowing accurate measurement without generating an error, in an enzymatic measuring reagent of an enzymatic measuring reagent comprising one-reagent system or two-reagent system, and containing a ferrocyanide compound in the enzymatic measuring reagent for the purpose of avoiding the influence of bilirubin. SOLUTION: In this method of restraining the nonspecific coloring depending on a sample, a chelating agent is added to the enzymatic measuring reagent using an oxidized coloring reagent comprising a color primary element and a coupler, an oxidase and a peroxidase, and containing the first metal ion, or a substance containing it.
