摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction method for a foundation which has sufficient strength even against big earthquakes, and which can easily cope even with displacement between a vertical reinforcement position of a building and a steel pipe member serving as the foundation. SOLUTION: In this construction method for the foundation for holding a plurality of horizontally installed vertical reinforcements 28a-28d, a plurality of vertical holes are excavated near positions to erect the vertical reinforcements 28a-28d; and the steel pipe members 15 are driven into the vertical holes up to deep positions exceeding the excavation depths of the vertical holes. A steel-pipe insertion reinforcement 21, whose upper part is horizontally bent, is inserted into each of the steel pipe members 15; thus, the plurality of horizontally elongated steel pipe insertion reinforcements 21 are arranged; and horizontal reinforcements 24a and 24c are arranged in a direction wherein the vertical reinforcements 28a-28d are arranged on the plurality of steel pipe insertion reinforcements 21. Lower parts of the vertical reinforcements 28a-28d are horizontally bent; bent parts of the vertical reinforcements 28a-28d are connected to the horizontal reinforcements 24a-24c; and thus, the vertical reinforcements 28a-28d are arranged at predetermined intervals in the direction of being arranged.
