PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spout mode switching device which is selectively switchable among three types of spout modes, i.e. a straight spout mode, a foam spout mode, and a shower spout mode, exerts good diffusion when the shower spout mode is selected, does not produce a feel of vacancy on the user when the foam spout mode is selected, and suppresses upsizing of the device, increase in parts count, and cost increase. SOLUTION: The spout mode switching device 10 has a shower spouting function, a straight spouting function, and a foam spouting function. The shower spouting function is achieved by most separating a second cylinder body 2 from a diaphragm 1b to form a communication channel from the interior of an inner cylinder 2a via a second annular gap 5 defined by the inner cylinder 2a and a first cylinder body 1, to a second small-diameter hole 2d, and blocking a gap between an annular valve body 2e and a flange valve seat 1g. The straight spouting function is achieved by bringing the second cylinder body 2 closest to the diaphragm 1b to block the communication channel, and defining the gap by the annular valve body 2e and the flange valve seat 1g. The foam spouting function is achieved by locating the second cylinder body 2 at some midpoint between the closest location to the diaphragm and the most separate location from the same, and forming both the communication channel and the gap between the annular valve body 2e and the flange valve seat 1g.
