PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a jig for heat treatment by which the infiltration of scraps of a spacer, a chip or the like into a gap between a plate glass and a setter during firing is prevented to eliminate the occurrence of scratch on the plate glass. SOLUTION: The jig for the heat treatment is provided with the setter 10 having thermal expansion efficient equal to or below that of the plate glass to be placed and providing a nearly flat plate glass placing part on a plate glass placing surface and the spacers 20 for supporting the setter 10 provided in a plurality of stages to secure the space for placing the plate glass between each setter 10 and the difference of the thermal expansion coefficients between the setter and and plate glass is controlled to≤10×10<SP>-7</SP>.
