PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply and certainly detect the water level of a water storage part. SOLUTION: The electrostatic atomizing device 40 is equipped with a water storage part 1 for storing water W, a porous feed part 2 for feeding water W in the water storage part 1 to the leading end side positioned outside of the water storage part 1, the counter electrode 3 arranged so as to be opposed to the feed part 2, an electrostatic atomizing part 6 having a voltage applying part 5 for applying voltage across the feed part 2 and the counter electrode 3 and applying high voltage across the feed part 2 and the counter electrode 3 to atomize the water W of the feed part 2 to produce mist and a main body side tank case 18 for housing the electrostatic atomizing part 6. A float 12 with a magnet 13 floating and sinking corresponding to the water level of the water storage part 1 and a lead switch 15 reacting with the magnetic field generated from the magnet 13 of the float 12 to detect the water level in the water storage part 1 are provided and the lead switch 15 is arranged to the main body side tank case 18.
