PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the structure of an electrolytic water production apparatus for changing water to be treated into electrolytic water including desirable components according to an electrolytic reaction using the electrode pairs, particularly immersed in the water to be treated. SOLUTION: In a remaining chlorine concentration sensor 40, a partition plate 44 is disposed so as to avoid that members other than the partition plate 44 (particularly electrodes 41, 42) suffer a direct hit from a water stream of the water to be treated flowing in the arrow A direction in piping 15. Therefore, the partition plate 44 is constituted so as to have such a height as to form a wall for members other than the partition plate 44 with respect to the arrow C direction. Further, such a hole 44A as to allow the water to be treated to flow in the arrow A direction is formed on the upstream side with respect to a flow of the water to be treated in the piping 15. Thereby, the stagnation of the water to be treated in the vicinity of the electrodes 41, 42 can be avoided.
