PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic resonance imaging apparatus of three-dimensional imaging which can suppress a difference in the degree of blurring by an image direction in this invention. SOLUTION: Following one high-frequency excitation pulse, two or more echo signals are generated using two or more high-frequency inverting pulses. In the magnetic resonance imaging apparatus which performs a series of operations that give each of the two or more echo signals the phase encode of different magnitude more than once, three-dimensional reconfiguration image data is obtained from the echo signals. The three-dimensional reconfiguration image data is divided into the lead direction. An image processing calculation section 11 which obtains two or more two-dimensional images which use length and breadth as the phase encode direction is provided. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
