PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display images of patterns other than the patterns displayed in a display window in an image display device by synchronizing the display with the rotation of reels in a slot machine. SOLUTION: A game control device 200 comprises a lottery means 310 for selecting the result of a game by a lottery based on the operation of a start switch 70, a pattern image display determining means 410 for determining whether the images of patterns should be displayed in the image display device 40 or not based on the result of the lottery by the lottery means 310, and a pattern image display means 420 for displaying images of patterns other than the patterns displayed in the display window 20 by synchronizing the display with the rotation of reels 31-33 rotated with driving sources 34-36 when it is determined that the images of the patterns should be displayed in the image display device 40.
