Production of polyester moldings reinforced with natural fibers, starting from transgenic fibrous plants enabling polyester synthesis by a gene transfer process, comprises reducing these plants to small pieces after harvesting, separating most of the sap and pressing the resultant mass containing fibers and polyester to moldings. An independent claim is also included for moldings produced by this process.
